There is a problem with my order, what do I do?

Do you offer gift wrapping?

In a sense, yes we do - we always package every set in one of our beautiful custom boxes.  Additionally, we can arrange to send the parcel directly to the recipient’s address and include a customised message inside. Just jot all the details in the Notes section at checkout, and we will do the rest.

What is your shipping policy?

Check out the details (costs and lead times) here

How do returns work?

We reveal all right here.

Where are you based?

London, United Kingdom. All orders are fulfilled from here, so if you are based in a country that might levy customs charges for parcels from UK, please check this before ordering.

How do I care for my purchase?

Nightire is super low maintenance. It's best to machine wash your sleepwear (happy days!) inside out, at a gentle 30 degrees Celsius. Please steer well clear of tumble drying, bleaching and dry cleaning.

Note that your PJs will shrink a bit after the first wash, because the bamboo material is natural and unprocessed (just the way we like it). However, we’ve cleverly designed the PJs to fit you like a glove once they’ve had their first spin in the washer.

What can I do #inmynightire?

Whatever your heart desires. The sleepwear sets are best made for, as the name suggests, sleep. However, we have seen folks perform a variety of activities in them, ranging from cooking, hoovering the carpets, painting nails, watching Netflix on the couch, popping to the corner shop for a late-night chocolate run, or stretching through an early morning meditation session. It’s all about how you want to play it.

What is this I hear about monogramming my PJs?

You can now have your initials added to your purchase, for a small fee. Add a few working days to the expected delivery time (even though we try turn the embroidery around as quick as possible) and please note that you will not be able to return the pyjamas if they have embroidery on as they are now marked as yours:) Head on over here to add this option to your basket.

What do you mean your styles and prints are limited edition?

All Nightire prints are a one-time-thing, so once they're sold out, that's it folks. Ciao for now!! So we suggest you hop to it and get your hands on your favourite print stat before it's flown off the shelves.

Are your items handmade?

Nightire PJs are partly hand-made and partly machine-made, small batch and with much love - so there might sometimes be slight inconsistencies from one batch to the next. Which we kind of love - imperfectly perfect.

Bamboo PJs in Fun Prints

BAMBOO

What is all the bamboo fuss about?

We’re glad you asked. Fabric made from bamboo is incredibly soft with a texture like silk – smooth and luxuriously comfortable – but also, surprisingly, very strong. Bamboo fabric keeps you dry as it absorbs and evaporates sweat real quick, which keeps you comfortable in all temperatures (g’bye night sweats). That’s why it’s termed by some as ‘air conditioned clothing’. Bamboo is also antibacterial, which means the material stays fresher and odour-free longer, for a more hygienic and healthier you.

As if that’s not enough, bamboo is also extremely enviro-friendly. Why? Because it thrives naturally without using any pesticides or fertilisers. It is seldom eaten by pests or infected by pathogens and requires no watering to survive. Bamboo is the fastest growing plant in the world and is 100% biodegradable. Another benefit (because there aren’t enough already, right?) is that it releases a significant amount of oxygen into the air, even more than trees. So, planting bamboo can help reduce carbon dioxide into the air and basically help save the planet.

If you have sensitive or allergy prone skin, you have come to the right place. Bamboo fibre is smooth and round, which means it’s a non-irritant, and it lacks the harsh chemical treatments that can irritate the skin.

We’ve mentioned the durability of bamboo, which means the fabric is super practical and easily washable. The naturally antimicrobial nature of the bamboo means it retains its antifungal, anti-bacterial nature even after processing into the fabric and after numerous washes.

Where is my sleepwear made, and is it organic?

The styles are all made in-house by the Nightire team and all details & finishes have been painstakingly thought through and sense-checked for your optimum sleeping comfort.

Our Nightire sets are made in China by a company that specialises in sleepwear and is ISO9001 certified (which basically means they consistently provide products and services that is of excellent quality, and their manufacturing practices are ethical - this is audited by an external party on an annual basis). The fabric is sourced and made up from scratch by a bamboo specialist supplier in China as well. The bamboo fabric is FSB approved and the thread is 100% organic certified, so you know it’s the real deal.

How is the bamboo fabric made?

In order to produce high-quality bamboo material (such as the very ones used for Nightire), a process which uses sodium hydroxide, also known as caustic soda, kicks into gear to break down the ‘woody’ bamboo. Crushed bamboo is soaked in the chemical to produce cellulose. You may be worried that sodium hydroxide is a harmful chemical, but when used responsibly (as ours is), it has absolutely no effect on the environment and workers’ health, or you and your skin. It is routinely used in the processing of organic cotton into fibre and is approved by the Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS) and the Soil Association. It is also widely used in everything from soap production to food prep. Moreover it does not remain as a residue on bamboo clothing since it easily washes away.

And your packaging? Is that environmentally friendly too?

Indeed it is. The paper used for our beautiful bespoke boxes is sustainably sourced in Poland and made from recycled material.
